We hope everyone has had a nice and restful break. We have a CARE assembly at 9 am to introduce the new CARE focus for the next few week which will be Being Responsible when you hear the Bell. Our topic this term is Caring and being Responsible for the Earth's living things, this includes a field trip to the beach. For Room 12, Chapter Chat also starts tomorrow with our new novel The Wild Robot Escapes. Parents, keep a lookout on Seesaw for more wonderful art from your child!
We are looking forward to getting Term 2 under way!

On Wednesday morning we travelled into the Christchurch Art Gallery. The children got a chance to have a quick look around then they got to draw a self portrait and create their own art gallery to take with them. The focus of the visit was identity.
Check out your child's Seesaw blog for their video and views of the trip.
